Our next Branch meeting at The Stepping Stones, Westhumble will be on Tuesday 28th May 2024 (our regular meetings have moved to the 4th Tuesday each month).
We have Phil Hannam to give us an illustrated talk about Tangmere Battle of Britain airfield and Museum. All Norton Owners welcome to come along and joins us.
PLEASE try and arrive before 8pm when the talk will begin.
We also have a visit from John Morgan, who is organising a collection for the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance appeal. Please come and support this cause.
As usual the meeting starts at 8pm but we usually aim to arrive a bit earlier to get drinks, etc. All welcome!
Also – a date for your diary:
BROOKLANDS MOTORCYCLE DAY Sunday 7 July 2024:
A date for all diaries! The featured marque this year is to be NORTON!
Let’s try and gather as many Nortons as we possibly can for this event! There are well over a hundred NOC owners in London and parts South. More details will follow when we work out details.
We hope to have our SNOC stand. It attracted considerable interest at last year’s show. If you are not an SNOC Branch member, please come along and make yourself known.
Our stand at the South of England Classic Motorbike Show and Autojumble at Ardingly on Sunday 24th March hosted 23 Nortons, many ridden to the show, and a good time was had by all – even better because the sun shone! Photos to follow soon.
These shots are from the October 2023 event.
Clubnights are on the fourth Tuesday each month (from January 2024).
Location – The Stepping Stones pub at Westhumble, just across the A22 roundabout from Box Hill, just north of Dorking, Surrey.
Welcome to the
Norton Owners Club’s Surrey Branch
Situated just a few miles away from the historic Brooklands Racetrack, where Bert Denly (pictured above) roared round the banking on his Model 18 Brooklands Special in 1925, we meet at The Stepping Stones, a great bike friendly pub at West Humble near Box Hill.
We organise rides out, quiz nights and visits to local places of interest.
Our members can offer a wealth of useful experience to help you with your Norton – old or new!
Come along to one of our club nights and see what we are up to and have a chat. New members or just interested in Nortons? Come along!
Or you can call or e-mail us at the address shown on the contact page.
You can be sure of a warm welcome whatever time of year!
If you’re interested in bikes and particularly the unapproachable Norton, on the page links on the left you’ll find plenty to whet your appetite and using the links on the right you will find our activities listed by dates.
